  Formula Q.1. m= 9*27+4=247
m is not divisible by any even. Infact is 13 times 19, so only 13 and 19 with two prime factors of 247, and average of 13 , 19 is 16. So both the column are equal. So C is answer.

Formula Q.2. Column A can be reduced to (c-d)2 and column B can be written as 2(c-d). But c = d+2 is given
so column (A) (d+2-d)2 = 4.
Column (B) 2(d+2-d) = 4.

Formula Q.3. We will use formula
M1 D1 W2 = M2 D2 W1
Here 10*4*3 = 15*1*D2
=> D2 =8

Formula Q.4. Break question into two function with two unknowns, say Maggy's age (M) and John's age is (J) now.
(i) M=2*J
(ii) M-3=J+2 => 2J-3=J+2
J=5. So Answer is (E).

Formula Q.5. Let's equate the columns, if unit digit is 4 then hundred digit must be 12, which can't be right. A digit must be one of the integers 0 through 9; 12 isn't a digit. Therefore, 4 is too big to be the units digit of Y; column B is greater hence B is the answer.

Formula Q.1.
1929 – 1776 =153 (column A)
1992 -1767 =225 (column B)
Hence column B is answer.

Formula Q.2. Divide each column by m2 (it will always positive) you will get 1 in column A and m in column B. We know m>0, m=1 but it could be greater or less than 1 . So D is answer.

Formula Q.1. This is a permutation problem : order matters. For the lead role there are 6 people to choose from. For supporting role, there will be 5. So the number of possible duo and is 6*5=30.
So answer is C.

Formula Q.2. Since the sum of two, two digit numbers must be less than 200. A has to be 1 , and the sum is 3. Therefore , B+D, the quantity in column D is 2, where as A+C, the quantity in column A is 10 (which when added to the 1 that was carried from the units digit given 2). So column B is greater , hence answer is B

Q.1.

PR=8; QS=9 and QR=1/2 RS find PS=

(A) 10
Wrong Answer
(B) 14
Right Answer

To check formula, click

If QR=x then RS=2x,
so Qs=3x=9 Thus x=3 and RS=6 .
The whole length is PS=PR+RS=8+6=14

(C) 16
Wrong Answer
(D) 8
Wrong Answer
(E) 12
Wrong Answer

Q.2. Which two of the following numbers have a quotient that is greater than 3 ?

A) -8
Right Answer is A and C

To check formula, click

The quotient of positive and negative number is negative, thus not more than 3. The quotient of any two positive numbers is either 8÷4=2 or 4÷8=1/2 neither of which is greater than 3. If we take -8 and -2, however, we can form the quotient -8/-2=4. Which is greater than 3.
B) -4
Wrong Answer
C) -2
Right Answer is A and C

To check formula, click

D) 4
Wrong Answer
E) 8

Formula Q.1. It is not possible for m and n to be both positive or both negative , because this would make mn>0, which is not the case. This rules out options A, D and E. furthermore , m>1 and n< -1 is not possible because product mn would be less than -1, which is also not the case . thus m<1 and n<1 is only possibility which could be true.

Formula Q.2. Perimeter is given to be 40 i.e. but we don't know which two sides are equal. So cannot find out the length of two other ungiven sides. Hence answer is D.

Formula Q.1.
By Pythagorean ratio it is a 3 – 4 – 5 triangle except this time it is 60-80-100. So distance between A to C is 100 miles which is less than column B. hence answer is B

Formula Q.2. We can figure out how many students scored exactly 85. 23 scored 85 or over, and 18 scored over 85. So 23- 18, or 5 students , scored exactly 85 on the exam, but that's no help. How many students scored less than 85 ? we don't know. So it (E) , it cant be determine.

Formula Q.1. Solve the equation for y, you get y = -3/2x+7/2 for line L and y = 5x +4 For line M. the y- intercept for line L is thus 7/2 and y –intercept for Line M is 4. Hence B is answer

Formula Q.2. circumference of a circle with diameter D is πD which is 3.14*D and perimeter of equilateral triangle with side D is 3D. hence A is Answer.

Formula Q.1. using the formula ncr=n!/(n-r)! r!
7c3 = 7!/3! (7-3)!

= 7*6*5*4*3!/3!*4*3*2*1 =35

Formula Q.2. The first male role can be filled by any of the five men, and second by any of remaining 4, for a total of 5 times 4 = 20 choices. Similarly there are 12 options for the first female role, 11 for next, 10 for the third, and 9 for the last, so the total number of possibilities is thus

5*4*12*11*10*9 = 237,600.

Formula Q.1. Let there are 100 adults. Then 80% means 80 of them are registered, again 60% of those 80 that is 48 are voting actually So 52 did not vote and 52/100=52%

Formula Q.2. Take a simple example: let's take a number n which is positive, even and one more than the multiple of 3 . Say n=10, then divide 10 by 3, remainder is 1, Now divide (n+1) i.e. 11 by 2 remainder is 1 again. Now as per question if we divide (n-1) that is (10-1) = 9 with 6 remainder will be 3. Now since this is Q.C., there is always possibility that we will get a different result if we pick different number. So let's try n=16 which is positive, even and one more than multiple of 3 as earlier. Now calculate (n-1) / 6, remainder will be 3 again. So columns are equal hence answer is C .

Formula Q.2. It is not necessary to find the individual values of x, y, and zto answer the questions. You are asked to rewrite the expressions x+y+z as an equivalent expression in terms of x. this means that you need to use the information provided about y and z to express them in terms of the variable x. the variable y is already given in terms of x; that is , y=3x; and because z=2y, it follows that z =(2)(3x) =6x. Using substitutional, you can rewrite the expression as follows.
X+y+z = x + (3x) + (6x)
= (1+3+6)x
=10x

Formula Q.1. To find the number of Rabbits formula is
a/a+b * X        |       b/a+b * X

Number of Rabbits must be in whole number. So (a+b)
must divide 55 evenby so option (B) is true as
3/11 * 55 5 = 15        |        8/11 * 55 5 = 40

Formula Q.2. This is sum of direct proportion and given is
quart= 4 cups
So 2/3=x/24=>     x=2/3 * 24 8 = 16 eggs

So (B) is answer.
